THE BIGGEST LIARS IN THE ZODIAC
Could it be Libra?
Every sign of the Zodiac has the capacity to tell lies. They may do it for different reasons and in different ways, but they all do it. This is part seven of a twelve part series in which we will see how any Sun sign could become the “biggest liar in the Zodiac.”
The Libra Liar
Lies are ugly things but sometimes the truth is much, much uglier. This is why Libra people are so often forced to tell falsehoods. They lie for the sake of aesthetics, to tidy up and prettify messy realities and keep the social wheels greased and functioning smoothly.
Quite often the little fibs Libra tells make the world a better place. The truths they conceal are by no means crucial and we lose nothing by not hearing them. After all, do we really need to hear all the gory details, all the factoids that serve no purpose except to make us feel fretful and disquieted? Isn’t it better to be able enjoy beauty and companionship without all those grimey distractions?
There are times, however, when Libra folks get a little carried away in their determination to shield other people from unpleasant realities. They start hiding truths that maybe we would be better off knowing. Or maybe, they start hiding truths that reveal something ugly about themselves.
For baseball fans back in the 1990s, watching Mark McGwire (born Oct. 1, 1963) hit home runs was a thing of beauty, especially in 1998 when he broke the record for home runs hit during a single season. Then, when congress began investigating steroid use in baseball, McGwire refused to testify. He later admitted that he had used performance enhancing drugs during his record breaking season.
Likewise, watching track and field star, Marion Jones (born Oct. 12, 1975) win medals was beautiful. She won five gold medals during the 2000 Summer Olympics alone. Then she was charged with using 
performance enhancing drugs. Jones denied the charges for several years, even in front of a grand jury. In 2007, however, she was forced to admit to using the drugs. She was stripped of her Olympic medals and sent to jail for perjury.
Did we really need to know the ugly secret behind the athletic prowess of McGwire and Jones? Actually, we did. In trying to hide an unpleasant truth these Libras had broken another rule dear to the heart of every Libra Sun sign. They weren’t playing fair. Fairness is as important to Libra as beauty and lies have a way of making things unfair. This is something that even the most well-intentioned Libra liar has to keep in mind.
